Description

This is a stylized figurine of Amaterasu, the wolf sun goddess from the video game Okami! Her design was inspired by midwestern howling coyote statues and by japanese netsuke carvings, but the concept and sculpture is my own. She is a hand-poured alumilite resin cast. I painted the details using high-quality acrylics and sealed her with multiple coats of protective matte varnish.
