Thank you and thank you!!!
Also, a huge thanks to everyone I ran into at Anime Boston last weekend! Big Haku had a great time riding around, and it was awesome how many people remembered him from last time. After I make some post-con repairs, I really need to take his picture and get him in my gallery already. ^_^;;
Lastly, I've achieved what is either the mark of a really good artist or a really awful one: the internet is trolling me. It's been brought to my attention that the image of my albino oriental dragon has been put up on a site called 9gag ( [link] ), with no accompanying information, and...well, the internet did what the internet does. I do acknowledge (openly!) that this dragon was an early work and has a lot of issues, his proportions are derped and my bad photo just exaggerated it. Nevertheless, "that's an ugly freaking rat" isn't quite what I was going for.
My own comment was entirely lost in the deluge, but I'll repeat the gist of it again here:
It's certainly a real OBJECT, but not a real dragon (duh). It's not photoshopped. I made it.
To those of you who like it/think it's cute: thank you!
To those of you who responded with "Discord?": <3 Oh bronies, I love you.
To those of you who think it's ugly/awful/freakish/etc: I'd like to see YOU make a dragon out of raw wool and do better. ^_~ Go ahead. I'm waiting.
Anyway, it is clear that the internet won't raise the bar in terms of maturity, so I shall have to raise the bar in terms of the awesomeness of my dragons. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED, INTERNET.
(...I'm actually quite tickled by the number of "Discord? A baby Discord? A white Discord?" comments there were. It tempts me to make a baby Discord. Hrmmm...)
